Controller

Our client is a downtown mining company that is experiencing significant growth and has a very prosperous, international operating mine. Our client boasts one of the lowest costs of production in their industry which makes the future of this company extremely promising and exciting. An excellent position is available for a motivated and experienced CPA to assume the Controller. You will report directly to the CFO and be involved in a variety of interesting duties. You should have proven financial reporting experience (internal and external) in a regulatory reporting requirement. Duties involve preparing quarterly consolidated financial statements, liaising with the external auditors, reviewing capital assets, cash flow reporting, budget preparation, internal control review, staff supervision, designing and preparing various reports for senior management and the Board, examining foreign exchange issues and a variety of treasury functions as assigned. Compensation is flexible and entirely dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
