Manager, Corporate Reporting

Our client is a large BC based hi-tech public company. They are experiencing significant growth and are continuing to add to their impressive team of financial talent. An excellent position exists for a Manager, Corporate Reporting to report directly to the Controller. The successful candidate, who should be a motivated CPA, will be responsible for the external financial and regulatory reporting of this dynamic company. Specifically, you will be involved with the preparation and coordination of the quarterly and annual consolidated external financial statements and MD&A, including leading the quarterly review and annual audit processes. You will prepare and coordinate various regulatory filings such as the Annual Information Form/40-F, Management Information Circular, registration statements/prospectuses etc. You will identify, analyze and resolve complex accounting and reporting issues on a real-time basis and liaise with external auditors and legal counsel to ensure efficient reviews and audits (globally) are conducted on a timely basis including resolution of accounting and reporting issues. You will analyze financial information for management and the audit committee and maintain internal controls related to external reporting. You will have oversight of a multi-location, multi-currency consolidation and supervise the Senior Financial Accountant. You will also undertake special projects as assigned.
