Controller

Our client is a growing organization in an exciting segment of Vancouver’s service sector. Their growth has required them to hire a seasoned, hands-on Controller to report directly to the President and COO. This organization’s sales have grown in excess of 200% in the last 2 years and they expect the growth to continue. The successful candidate must be able to assist with the budgeting and forecasting duties and provide the President with accurate and timely information. You will also be very involved in the preparation of cash flows and ensuring that you’re providing the banks with relevant information. You will also be involved with strategic planning from the financial side in conjunction with the President and various Board Members. It should be stressed, however, that our client is not a large organization and that this is a hands-on role with the successful candidate needing to handle all accounting functions themselves. Our client’s remuneration package is very generous, however, and typical of a senior person. You must be a person that shows great initiative and is self motivated.
