VP Finance

Our client is a well established, service based organization with its head office located in the lower mainland. An excellent position has arisen for a motivated CPA to report to the management team and function as a VP Finance. The successful candidate will need to assume a leadership role as you will supervise a Controller who, in turn, has a number of clerical staff. You will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and liaise frequently with operations personnel in assisting them, from a financial perspective, with their day to day duties. Budgeting and cash flow will always represent a key consideration to your position and your will be very involved in these areas. You should be very comfortable in the systems area as you will be a key resource from a “user” perspective in recommending changes and enhancements. Most importantly, though, you will be the key financial resource in the company and oversee all finance, accounting and treasury matters.
