Accounting Supervisor

Our client is a well known and respected construction company with its head office in the lower mainland. An excellent position has arisen for a motivated CPA to function as an Accounting Supervisor and report directly to the Management Team. The successful candidate will supervise a small team and be responsible for overseeing the financial affairs of this owner managed business. You will be an integral part of the financial team and provide financial advice to the team. Our client is particularly interested in candidates that have experience in the construction area and have an appreciation of job costing concepts. This skill is not mandatory but would be beneficial. You will also be responsible for the preparation of the financial statements and reports and coordinate the activities of your staff. It is also important that the successful candidate have a good understanding of computerized systems and be goal oriented.
