Controller

Our client has been a driving force in their industry for almost 2 decades. They are a world leader in their field and are poised for some impressive growth in the next 2 years. An excellent position has arisen for a motivated CPA to assume an exciting Controller position in their office. Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will undertake all aspects of financial management including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.  You will supervise 3 staff in managing all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, inventory accounting and revenue recognition. You will coordinate and prepare budget and financial forecasts, report variances, timely monthly financial statements, key variances, regulatory reporting and oversee month-end and year-end close processes. You will ensure adequate controls over financial transactions and financial reporting and manage and comply with local, provincial and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. You will work with their ERP system and provide general assistance to the CFO where required. Candidates should have proven Controllership experience.
