VP Finance

Our client is a privately held company that has been in business for over 30 years. Our client’s products are used in countries around the world including Canada, the US, Australia, Europe, Africa and Asia.  The role of VP Finance is a key financial role in the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the President on all aspects of the business. Specifically, you will be responsible for oversight and management of the accounting, information systems and customer services aspects of the business. You will be involved with strategic planning and reports and credit management. You will assist with examining margin analysis, prepare US Federal and state income tax returns, consolidations, liaise with bankers, lawyers and outside accountants and generally act as a key financial resource for the company. Candidates should have an accounting designation and a proven record of designing financial systems to support growth, budgeting, planning, financial reporting and analysis. You should be extremely comfortable with Excel and a demonstrated ability to negotiate international contracts. This position requires considerable interface with operations personnel including customer service, distribution and marketing people.
