Senior Accountant

Our client is a leading, well established service based organization in with its head office in Vancouver. An excellent position has arisen for a newly designated CPA  to report to the management team and function in a hands-on, full cycle accounting role within their growing organization. The successful candidate will be involved in full charge accounting for their dynamic organization. You will be doing most of the accounting yourself but have some part-time  assistance from a very junior accounting assistant. This position involves full cycle accounting, ensuring accurate revenue and expense recognition, managing A/R and A/P (including invoicing and collections), Payroll, preparing and distributing sales reports, administering government remittances, assisting management with budgets and forecasts, banking duties etc. Our client would also consider a new CPA looking for their first industry position.
