Controller

Our client is a well established construction company. An excellent position has arisen for a senior level Controller with established experience in the construction area. The successful candidate will be the top financial resource in their company and will report to a dynamic management team. Our client requires a person that has worked in the construction area previously and understands, for example, job costing concepts, progress billings, holdbacks etc. Duties are varied and include managing the financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, job costing, assorted financial analysis, some corporate tax issues, liaison with outside parties such as auditors, lawyers, bankers etc and other special projects as required by the CEO and management team. You will also ensure that finance processes and systems are continuously improved to meet the needs of the business. This is a senior position and requires a candidate with a minimum of several years of proven experience in the construction industry in a Controller role. Remuneration is entirely flexible and includes a bonus structure.
