Director of Finance

Our client is poised for growth.  An excellent position is available for a designated CPA to assume a Senior Director of Finance role. The successful candidate will report directly to the Management Team and, initially, will function without staff. This company will be growing very quickly, though, and you will be required to put in an accounting team to accommodate this growth. Our client will be going public within the next 12 months and really requires a person that has worked in public companies and understands the reporting requirements. You will coordinate tax filings and assist in the accounting treatment for cross border transactions and operations. You will act as the right hand financial resource for the Management Team. You will get very involved with budgeting – including assisting them with analyzing variances. You will also prepare cash flow pro formas and liaise with their bankers and investors. You will be putting internal controls in place. You must be flexible as duties and responsibilities will arise as the company grows and you grow.
