Senior Accountant

Our client has been in business in the lower mainland for many decades. They are regarded as the premier supplier for their specialized products and will, no doubt, continue to experience significant growth and success. An excellent position is available for a designated CPA to report directly to the owners and assume a key role in their company. Please note that this position involves working in a relatively small and informal office (most employees are working in the field) where you would be expected to be very hands-on. You will have staff undertaking junior and clerical accounting duties however. Our client needs a person that is capable of assuming responsibility and be able to function independently. You will prepare financial statements but you and your staff will also get involved in all account reconciliations, adjusting journal entry preparation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, inventory calculations, monthly reports, payroll and generally ensuring that the owners are provided with accounting information on a timely and accurate basis.
