Accounting Supervisor

Our client is an exciting hi-tech company that has its corporate head office located in downtown Vancouver. The need has arisen for a motivated CPA to function as an Accounting Supervisor and report directly to the Director of Finance. The successful candidate must have worked in a public company environment previously.  You will prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual MD&A. You will be working on internal financial reporting including AJE prep, monthly account review and prepare consolidations. Budgeting and forecasting will be involved as well as a variety of reconciliations, capital asset review, foreign exchange issues, comparing budget to actual and special projects as they arise. Our client is somewhat flexible as to the specific level of person they hire. Candidates must, though, have a CPA and have experience working in a public company environment. This position would also be a possibility for a CPA that is currently working in public practice and desirous of their first position in industry.
