Controller

Our client is a well known and respected construction company with its head office in Burnaby.  They have had their business for many decades and are extremely well established. An excellent position has arisen for a motivated CPA to function as a Controller and report directly to the Management Team. The successful candidate will supervise a small team and be responsible for overseeing the financial affairs of this vibrant business. You will be an integral part of the executive team and provide financial advice. Our client is particularly interested in candidates that have experience in the construction area and have an appreciation of job costing concepts. You will also be responsible for the preparation of the financial statements and reports and coordinate the activities of your staff. It is also important that the successful candidate have a good understanding of computerized systems and be goal oriented.
