Assistant Controller

Our client is a private manufacturing company that has been in operation for over 25 years.  This company has earned a reputation for high quality products and service both locally and internationally.  An opportunity is available for a CPA to assume the role of Assistant Controller.  This position reports  to the CFO and supervises a small accounting team.  This role will be responsible for managing all of the accounting functions including; financial statements, cash management, government reporting, costing and managing the implementation of a new finance system.  This position will be a key part of the management team and will be required to assist in providing information vital to the decision making process.  The successful candidate will have the ability to assess current accounting operations and offer recommendations for implementing improvements and procedures.  You will be a motivated, team player with excellent interpersonal and management skills.  If interested, please forward your resume, in the strictest of confidence, to Ben Moxon CPA, CA at bmoxon@telus.net
