Controller

Our client is a high profile lower mainland public company involved in the manufacturing industry. An excellent position exists for a motivated CPA to function as a Controller.  Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be involved in supervising the accounting department and coordinating the preparation of the monthly financial statements and reporting requirements. You should have proven financial reporting experience (internal and external) in a regulatory reporting environment. Our client operates in an international environment and any experience with international operations would be helpful. You will also be involved with assessing and monitoring internal controls and oversee the preparation of the company’s tax returns. This position requires you to supervise several staff and liaise with operations personnel to assist them with financial, budgeting and forecasting issues.
