Controller

Our client is an extremely successful and profitable company in the financial services industry with international operations. This organization’s head office is located in Downtown Vancouver and they employ several hundred employees. A newly created opportunity is available due to continued growth for a CPA to assume the role of Controller. This role will have a dual reporting structure to the company’s Senor Controller and C.F.O. This role has three main areas of responsibility. The first key focus areas will be to maintain financial compliance and regulatory reporting relating to the US SEC, secondly; maintaining internal audit functions related to the firm’s regulatory responsibilities in Canada and the US and ensuring procedures are being followed at a most efficient level, the third area will relate to a variety of interesting special projects. You will be a motivated team player with excellent interpersonal and management skills.
