Controller

Our client is a well established distribution/manufacturing company located in the lower mainland. Due to anticipated significant growth, an additional position has been created in their finance group for a Controller. Reporting directly to the senior management team, the successful candidate will become involved in implementing and ensuring compliance with internal control procedures and policies, understand and comply with the new internal control requirements for public companies to enable a smooth transition to a public company, obtain and maintain an understanding of every job function within the finance department, prepare corporate income tax returns, domestic and foreign, for all entitles within the Group and ensure than the current private structure is maintained as tax efficient as possible. Our client anticipates launching an IPO within 3 years. This position offers excellent career growth for the successful candidate.
