Director of Finance

Our client is a very well established and expanding Company. Due to impressive growth and anticipated future growth, an excellent, newly created position has arisen for a Director of Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the Company’s staff and reporting to the two owners.  The main functions of the Director of Finance will include the management of all aspects or the accounting function including Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Collections, Management Accounting, Cash Flow, Banking, and Financial Reporting. You will develop departmental policies and procedures as appropriate, provide and monitor suitable financial controls, develop and manage information systems (including providing timely and relevant data to management) and generally act as a key financial resource to the owners. Candidates should monitor company financial information (job costing, budget variances, significant ratios) and address concerns in a timely manner. You will oversee the Company budgetary process and maintain a sufficient knowledge of accounting principles and industry knowledge to adequately develop and manage the Company’s accounting and information needs.
