Due to impressive growth and anticipated significant future growth, a newly created position has arisen for a motivated designated accountant to function as an Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparation of monthly financial statements, assisting with merger and acquisitions analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, setting up monthly reports, project reporting and assistance with installing a new project costing module in their computerized reporting systems. You will also assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of an effective budget variance and analysis system and a project purchasing system. It is essential that the successful candidate be extremely comfortable in a computerized environment and have a solid understanding of Excel spreadsheets. You will also assist in the supervision of their accounting staff. Candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills as you will have frequent liaison with operations personnel as well.
