Large lower mainland company (40 person finance department) that is expanding rapidly requires a seasoned CPA to function as a DIVISIONAL CONTROLLER and report to the Group Controller. Can work HYBRID. Bonus and large company RRSP contribution and impressive benefits.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Provides support, analysis and advice on financial matters to the Business unit team members
Leads annual budgeting process
Monthly and quarterly forecasting
Directs the preparation of monthly financial information
Analyzes financial results and performance
Oversees financial compliance requirements
Manages direct reports providing ongoing leadership
Works with the finance team and operations personnel on ad hoc projects
REQUIREMENTS:
CPA Designation
8+ years of progressive accounting experience
Experience working at a management level in a finance department
Experience working with medium sized to large companies
Strong business acumen skills
Knowledge of IFRS and/or principles of US GAAP
Sound judgement, analytical thinker and able to solve problems
Enjoys working in a team environment
