We are a lower mainland based business that has been servicing clients for many decades. Due to our past and anticipated future growth the need has arisen for a motivated, senior level CPA to function as a SENIOR CONTROLLER. We need a person that is motivated to make a difference and function as part of the management team. Staff supervision is important in this role.
DUTIES
- Supervision of all accounting duties
- Financial Statement preparation and interpretation
- Analyzing variances from budget to actual
- Forecasting and monitoring cash
- Work with management to improve revenue and reduce expenses
- Coordinate annual review with external accounting firm
- Lead the annual forecast and budgeting process
- Work with management and operations personnel from the financial side
REQUIREMENTS
- CPA designation
- A minimum of 12 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience performing in a Senior Controller capacity
- Proven experience supervising staff
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work five days per week in the office
