Director of Finance

Our client is an established and growing manufacturing/hi-tech company.  This company is producing a solid revenue stream and is poised for growth. They currently employ about 120 people and manufacture a product that is very much in demand. They consider themselves to be a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of their product and continue to improve it with a group of highly talented hi-tech technicians and engineers. A motivated CPA is required to  function in a senior Director of Finance role. You will be responsible for directing and managing the Company’s accounting functions, including the accuracy and timeliness of financial information. You will supervise the day to day accounting functions (journal  entries, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and statutory reporting), implement and manage internal controls, assist with formulating accounting policies, procedures and controls, set priorities within the accounting group, coordinate the year end audit, ensure that reporting requirements are met, work with budgets and forecasts, manage foreign exchange transactions and hire/train/mentor accounting staff.  The successful candidate should have solid communication, organizational, analytical and technological skills.
