Our client is one of the lower mainland’s success stories and is experiencing significant growth. They are looking for a motivated person to assume the position of Assistant Controller. The successful candidate will ensure that the Accounting Department meets all weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deadlines, prepare monthly consolidated financial income statements and balance sheest, as well as a monthly management financial information reports, prepare monthly revenue analysis, verifying that revenue is recognized in accordance with Company policies and that it is properly recorded in the accounts, ensure that all balance sheet accounts are analyzed on a timely basis and that all sub ledgers are balanced to the General Ledger, manage aspects of the Company banking requirements, ensure that the necessary financial controls are in place to support Company policies, ensure Inventory Control is managed to approved Company policies and procedures, provide management and guidance to accounting and inventory staff, ensure that the Accounts Receivable aging report and weekly cheque runs are completed and distributed on time, ensure cash forecast report are completed and support special projects as directed by the Corporate Controller.
