Controller

Our client is a well established company involved with providing Real Estate investments to clients.  They have an opportunity for a CPA to function as a Controller and report directly to the General Manager.  This role will directly supervise one employee.  The successful candidate will be involved with a broad range of duties such as: maintaining cash management and overseeing general ledgers for its group of companies, including overseeing bookkeeping (as done by your staff person) and preparation of financial statements.  Other duties will include preparation of tax filings, year end working papers, liaison with external auditors, budget preparation, financial analysis and management reports to support syndications and property acquisitions.  You will also perform in-house property valuations, update and maintain partnership disposition analysis, answer investor’s tax questions, act as liaison with corporate professionals when bringing on new projects, and special projects as assigned.  If interested, please forward your resume in the strictest of confidence to Ben Moxon CPA, CA at bmoxon@telus.net
