Director of Finance

Our client is a well established specialty manufacturer/distributor with its head office located in Vancouver. An excellent position has arisen for a Director of Finance to report directly to the President and assume a leadership role in their dynamic company. The successful candidate, who should be a designated CPA, should have previous experience in a senior level role and will be responsible for the supervision of 2-3 accounting department employees. You will get involved in preparing financial statements, management reports, cash flow reporting, budget preparation and variance analysis and bank reporting. This company owns and operates a second manufacturing company in the US.  The successful candidate should be an excellent communicator. Effective liaison with a variety of operations personnel is required in providing human resource support and business unit analysis.
