Controller

Our client is a private service company with a solid reputation for high quality products and service both locally and internationally.  They have been in operation for over 30 years.  An opportunity is available for a CPA to assume a Controller role.  This position reports directly to the President and supervises a team of four staff members.  This role will be responsible for managing all of the accounting functions including; consolidated financial statements, cash management, government reporting, costing and margin analysis.  Other duties will include; strategic planning and budget preparation, negotiating agreement with distributors, liaison with banking, attorney and outside accountants.  The successful candidate will have the ability to assess current accounting operations and offer recommendations for implementing improvements and procedures.  You will be a motivated, team player with excellent interpersonal and management skills.  If interested, please forward your resume in the strictest of confidence to Ben Moxon CPA, CA at bmoxon@telus.net
