Accounting Supervisor

Our client is a specialized consulting firm that has been in operation for several decades.  An excellent opportunity exists for a CPA  to function initially, as an Accounting Supervisor.    This position reports directly to the Director of Finance.  One of the key projects this role will manage in the first eighteen months is a system conversion.  You will be one of the lead individuals on this project and although prior conversion experience would be an asset, it is not mandatory.  This systems related project will require the bulk of your time. Once the project is completed, you will concentrate on other duties including; overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, preparation of financial statements, cost and budget control, and maintenance of the chart of accounts.  You will also be involved in cash management, job cost reporting, financial analysis, and monthly forecast and annual operating and capital budgets.  The successful candidate will be a detailed oriented individual with strong written and verbal communication skills.  If interested, please forward your resume, in the strictest of confidence, to Ben Moxon CPA, CA at bmoxon@telus.net
