Hands on Controller

Our client has been a respected part of the lower mainland business community for decades. They are located in Richmond, very well known and have established many businesses/companies over the years. Most importantly, they have made it their mission to give back to the community in many ways that have impacted the lives of so many people. Our client has an excellent, newly created, position available for a designated CPA to assume a Controller position and work in their small office located downtown. Please note that this position is extremely hands-on and there will not be any staff below you. You will handle financial statement preparation, monitoring receivables, taking care of disbursements, preparing spreadsheets and reports, dealing with the various regulatory authorities, handling joint venture/partnership accounting, tax return preparation etc.  It is hoped that you will be a person that can step in and takeover when this retirement occurs. This is a position that would suit a CPA working in industry or the private enterprise/small business area of a public practice firm.
