Controller

Our client is in the service business and is expanding rapidly. Due to their success and growth, they have a new position available for a Controller to join their dynamic team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will responsible for all the accounting and some management functions. The accounting tasks will include responsibility for full cycle accounting from accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger /bank reconciliations to producing the monthly financial statements. You will also manage the production of the annual budget/forecasts along with associated variance analysis and reporting, preparation of management cost reports, as well as coordinating the production of the corporate annual report. As part of the management team you will be involved/responsible for maintaining the accounting policies and procedures and oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations. We are seeking a candidate with a CPA and 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Previous experience working in a manufacturing company is a definite asset.
