Controller

Our client is a growing and well respected organization that is involved in sales and marketing functions.  The company is well established and continues to grow. Due to this growth, the company has created a position for a full time Controller, reporting directly to the President.  The successful candidate will be a CPA that can provide strong leadership abilities and the capability to grow with the position.  The key responsibilities of the role will be to provide accounting direction and support to the Management Team and establishing and maintaining a high standard of project cost accounting for all projects.  Other duties will include liaison with the external accountants, looking for ways to improve efficiencies within your department and making appropriate recommendations.  You will participate in weekly financial committee meetings including preparation of cash flow and revenue forecasts, producing weekly project revenue and cost analysis, preparation of monthly financial statements, ad hoc projects etc.  You should be a motivated, team player with excellent interpersonal and management skills.  If interested, please forward your resume, in the strictest of confidence, to Ben Moxon CPA, CA at bmoxon@telus.net
