Internal Auditor

Our client is a large public  Company which is experiencing significant growth. An excellent position has arisen for a CPA to function in an exciting internal audit position. Reporting directly to the Director, Internal Audit, the successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking internal audits,  special projects and other duties as assigned by the Director, Internal Audit. You will work on audit assignments either independently or as part of a team, ensure all audit work is satisfactorily supported by detailed documentation and testing, develop recommendations that will improve the Company’s overall systems of internal control and assist in improving the efficiency, effectiveness and profitability of the Company, prepare audit reports for presentation to senior management and the audit committee, conduct and report on audit follow-ups, etc. Please note that this position will require some travel to the Company’s operations in the US and Canada. This would be a good position for a person who has worked in internal audit or has worked in a public practice firm.
