Controller

Our client is a large service based Company. An excellent position exists for a motivated CPA to report directly to a CFO and function as a Controller. The Controller will work with the CFO in managing the Finance department, provide a variety of accounting services and supervise and provide guidance to Finance department personnel. Specifically, you will ensure that monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements are prepared in a timely fashion and accurately reflect the performance of the Company.  You and your staff will prepare adjusting journal entries, working paper files and financial statements utilizing information provided.  You will support the CFO in the developing and monitoring the Company’s annual and five year operating, capital budgets, forecasts, business plans and strategies and support the CFO in maintaining and managing the cash flow of the Company. You will liaise with the external auditors, account for foreign currency exchange, maintain appropriate internal controls etc. You will also be expected to oversee the accounting staff and delegate tasks accordingly.  Candidates should have had previous Controller experience.
