Senior Level Controller

Our client is a substantial division of a large multi-national corporation that is involved in a variety of dynamic and successful business ventures. An excellent position has arisen for a motivated CPA to function as a Senior Level Controller, reporting directly to the CFO. The position will be based in our client’s Canadian head office location in downtown Vancouver.  This role will be a key finance role within the organization and will directly supervise the accounting department.  The primary responsibilities will include; P/L reporting, budgeting, tax planning, preparation of audited financial statements, corporate income tax and other tax returns, and transfer pricing.  Other duties will include overseeing internal and government audits, liaison with the parent companies, working with the auditors and communicating with government agencies. There will also be special projects as assigned by the CFO. The successful candidate will be a motivated, detail oriented individual that possesses the ability to ‘think outside the box’.
