Our client is a high profile organization with its head office located in the Lower Mainland. An excellent position has arisen for a CPA to function as a Director of Finance & Administration. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the management team and oversee all accounting and financial reporting and analysis for the group of Companies. Duties also include cash flow monitoring and forecasting, detailed budgeting, preparing external financial statements for six companies, preparing monthly management reporting, financial statements and consolidations, reviewing monthly reconciliations of G/L accounts prepared by staff, analysis of income statement and operations results and monitoring actual versus budget spending, liaising with group insurance agent for rate renewal and administration of group extended medical insurance plans, supervising the accounting staff on a daily basis and preparing analysis, forecasts, internal reports, schedules and financial and non-financial information for due diligence and disclosure statements for purchase agreements and corporate transactions (including reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness).
