Controller

Our client is an exciting downtown hi-tech company that is experiencing significant growth and expansion. Our client has developed a very successful product used for online and mobile applications that is now producing revenue. Due to this past growth and anticipated future growth, an exciting position has arisen for a motivated CPA to assume a hands on Controller position. Although this position may be hands on at first, it is anticipated that the successful candidate will be promoted to a more senior position in the company ( ie – CFO) within the 12 to 18 months. Initially, however, you will be handling or closely overseeing all aspects of the accounting from accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, AJE prep, financial statement preparation,  budgeting, cash flows etc. This will allow you to become very familiar with the organization, both learning it’s business and its accounting procedures and policies.  It is also anticipated that in the next few months you will hire one to two more people to report to you and they will handle more of the day to day accounting.
