CFO

Our client is a publicly traded, service based company  with international operations and its corporate office located in downtown Vancouver. An excellent opportunity exists for a seasoned CPA to assume the role of CFO and report directly to the CEO. The successful candidate will have a proven experience in a public company environment. The key duties will include; providing strategic management for the finance area, managing the preparation of the financial statements and MD&A, directing accounting policies and internal controls. Other duties will include; liaison with legal counsel and regulators, cash flow and analysis, performing treasury functions and IT coordination. You will also manage relationships with investors and financial institutions, oversee the relationship with independent auditors, manage the annual budgeting process and periodic forecast adjustment to reflect changing business trends.
