Controller

Our client is a very well established service based company which has been in business for many decades. An excellent Controller position exists for a motivated CPA that enjoys working in a very stable organization. The Controller provides leadership and coordination of Company financial reporting, planning and budget management functions and ensures accounting procedures conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. You will prepare, direct and coordinate company financial reporting, planning and budget management functions, recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of branches, monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget, manage the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, ensure compliance with reporting requirements, establish and implement short and long range departmental goals and operating procedures, establish and maintain a department structure to effectively accomplish the department’s goals and objectives, direct financial audits and provide information for and assistance to the external auditor and provide guidance, assistance and support for the periodic physical inventory counts. Candidates should be a designated CPA with several years of proven Controllership experience at a senior level.
