Accounting Supervisor

Our client is a public company.  An excellent opportunity exists for a CPA to function as an Accounting Supervisor.  This role will report directly to the  Controller and will supervise a group of Accountants and Junior Accountants.  The job duties of this role will focus on account reconciliations, month end reporting and account variance resolution, while ensuring compliance with accounting procedures and standards by staff members.  You will also assist in the preparation of financial statements, plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department, assist in budget preparation and troubleshoot any areas of concern with the G/L software.  The successful candidate will have strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.   Our client offers an excellent work environment with a competitive compensation and benefits package.
