Our client has been in business for many decades and is an extremely stable and profitable organization. The company works in the wholesale/distribution industry, with numerous warehouses and distribution outlets in BC, across Canada and in the US. An excellent position is available for a motivated CPA to assume the position of Chief Accountant. You will supervise 3 accounting clerks and report directly to the VP Finance . You will be responsible for the financial reporting of the Canadian operations and the provision of the financial statements to the parent company in the US. You will have 3 accounting clerks in your department including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. You will be responsible for the general ledger, with particular emphasis on the inventory issues. This is a position that offers tremendous stability.
